Delta Technical Solutions (DTS) has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Recruiter/Sourcer at our Rolling Meadows location. DTS is a premier provider of outsourced engineering services as well as contract and direct hire staffing services. Our staffing services consist of a wide range of engineering skills and disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, software, quality, accounting, sales and marketing. DTS clients include leading aerospace, automotive, petrochemical, nuclear, food, defense, high tech, industrial and telecom companies throughout the U.S.. The Technical Recruiter/Sourcer will deliver high quality candidates, while promoting the Delta Technical Solutions brand across many markets and professional communities. This role will also guide candidates through the DTS selection process and includes sourcing and/or completing the technical recruiting lifecycle.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Core focus includes mining, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, set up interviews for hiring managers, conduct reference checks and extend job offers
• Growth and maintenance of the pipeline of qualified candidates through constant networking and creating effective sourcing strategies that attract the best talent.
• Provides sourcing or full lifecycle recruiting for contract, contract-to-direct and direct hire staffing services
• Develops and maintains strong working relationships with business community organizations and networking groups to source top engineering talent
• Optimize on-line recruiting resources and in-house database to identify and recruit the very best candidate• Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates
• Assists in the presentation, offer, negotiation and closing for engineering candidates
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation for all candidates and clients
• Ability to understand related engineering skills and educational requirements and determine the qualities and attributes of a successful candidate for the specific requirements
• Effectively manages the contract engineering workforce, to ensure successful employee performance and retention
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must possess excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
• Effectively communicate with all levels of organizational staff
• Requires computer expertise, including use of MS Office
• Must be flexible and innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-sensitive environment
• Highly knowledgeable in candidate sourcing, qualifying, networking and relationship management
• Identifies new recruiting concepts and opportunities
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Engineering or related field is preferred
